In this week's case discussion, we look at a case from Dr Terry Harvey featuring a lesion found on the lower limb of a 45-year-old female during her routine skin check.
This was the first of three lesions, which we will cover in the coming weeks.
What do you think of the dermoscopic image? What would you do next?
This lesion was sampled with a shave biopsy at the time of the consult. It came back as a superficial multifocal basal cell carcinoma. It was treated with imiquimod cream over 6 weeks and remains cured without recurrence now 2 years later.
