In this week's case, we look at a young female patient who presents with mainly comedonal and papular acne, as well as early scarring.
What is your treatment plan for this patient?
Update
Dr King's treatment plan included:
- Erythromycin 400 mg 2 bd
- Estelle -35 ED
- Topical retinoid at night
- 6/52 Blue/Red LED
At the patient's 6-week review:
- Wood’s light shows excellent cleansing
- Minimal active acne
- Residual sebaceous “bumpiness”
- Start Dermaroller and vitamin C serum at night before Retrieve
- Further 1 month antibiotics
- Book for Dermapen in 1 month
