In this week's case discussion, submitted by Dr David Stewart, we look at a 45-year-old patient with no history of skin cancer who presents for a routine skin check. This new, small, pigmented lesion is noted on the palm of the right hand.
Dr Stewart opts to observe the lesion, and the patient returns for a follow-up check six months later. What do you think of it, and what would you do next?
